I joined SAAOL Heart Program in Jan. 98 when I had triple vessel disease confirmed angiographically. My angiogram showed 90% blockage in left main, 90% blockage in LAD, 90% blockage in circumflex and 80% blockage in right posterior arteries. I was just 51 years. I used to feel chest eaviness/breathlessness on physical exertion at heart rate just above 100/min. I have been following SAAOL Heart Program regularly and have observed a steady improvement. Now I do not get angina symptoms on exertion even at heart rate 120-125/min. Recently I had undergone RGCI to confirm the status of coronary blockages. I had a pleasant surprise on seeing the report that now I am left with mild to moderate blockages only in left circumflex and LAD. The other blockages are insignificant and do not get reflected in RGCI. I am sure that after sometime the remaining blockages will also become insignificant and my exercise tolerance shall further increase. Thanks to SAAOL and Dr. Bimal Chhajer.
